Sorry, I have not written lately. You see I want to remain positive and I want all that read this, to remain positive. I hope that we can all focus on the small advances and not the setbacks. I have been told that it is normal to take, two steps forward and one step back. Also, keep in mind that the information ,I am providing is either coming directly from a family member or from hospital staff. The issue is that, on any given day, depending on what nurse, therapist, or doctor you encounter. Their views or their information are not always in sync.
So, on that note! As of now Abelina is still in ICU and has been trying to excrete fluid in her lungs. Unfortunately, it is a huge challenge and it takes a tremendous amount of inner strength as well as an attentive nursing staff! She has been on an off the Ventilator for several days, but has remained off of it all day today. She is back on track! As far as the wires on her teeth and jaw they will most likely not be off for another few weeks. So pray for Abelina to keep her strength and not focus on what she cannot express.
On a brighter note, sitting up in a wheelchair may not be to far off.
Thank You from all of our hearts to all of you that have reached out to help Abelina and the kids. Most of the time we only are exposed to the ugliness in todays society, via the media and the rumor mill. But if this situation has taught me anything. It has taught me not to doubt our fellow man, it has restored my faith in mankind.

Diana Thank you for the call Monday night, I am happy to wait until Abalina is rested and strong before I visit. Rest is a very important part of healing. How about another meal? Are you ready? Hello Abeline. You do not know me, I work at the Tiburon office as the admin assistant. I think of you every day and pray that you will continue to make progress. I hear only lovely things about you and also that you are a very strong woman. I know you have many, many friends supporting you and a loving family by your side. You amaze me. i think about you and my cousins every minute of the day, and every night before i go to bed i pray for you. i cant wait to go see you again.

You don't know me but I knew your wonderful friend Diana, when our sons played soccer together. I,too, check your blog every day to see how you are doing. You are constantly I my mind and in my thoughts. I've had an illness where I often thought that I would not be able to be with my three beautiful children, so I know how difficult it must be for you not to be with yours. I look forward to the day when you are able to return to Abraham, Angel and Claudia. Que preciosos estan! I will do anything I can to help you or your family in the future. We are thinking of you everyday and pray for your recovery. You are an amazing woman and that gets reflected in your children. Abraham, Claudia and Angel are great and we text them almost everyday so they know we care and that we are keeping our tabs on them.
Rest assured that John, Diana, Johnny and Kylie are taking awesome care of your kids. We also pray for them relentlessly that the good Lord would continue to bless them with whatever they need to take care of all who live at their home. We're coming back out to Napa Valley this weekend for a week and hopefully get to give you our love but also to check in on your kids and the Tates.
