Abelina

I have not been to see Abelina this week, but I have received several phone calls from her. She called to let me know she had a new neighbor and she was coughing and sneezing all day and night. She shared her beef with the nurses and the doctor and no one was taking her seriously, so she wanted me to intervene. I then asked her if she thought there was another room they could move her into. She quickly replied, yes. I said, how do you know? She said she had been scoping out the place in her wheel chair. I let out a burst of laughter, which led to simultaneous laughter. We laughed for a good five minutes. You crack me up Abelina, I exclaimed! I know, she said. I am going to miss her so much, it hurts!

I spoke to the case manager Jennifer on Wednesday and the move out date is still scheduled for the 29th of April. They will call us if there is any change, since the kids will be going on the same day. It look like they are going to rent a mobile home and all drive to Arizona together, what an adventure. Ernesto and Jessie will be here to help with the move.
