Abelina update

I had a very short visist with Abelina today, although educational. The two, young enthusiastic physical therapists , Ericka and Brian came in to do her daily therapy. First Brian came in and started getting Abelina set up for her Hoyer Lift (this is what is used to transport her from bed to wheel chair or vice versa). He then started to give Abelina's eldest brother Jessie the reins, guiding him every step of the way. Jessie, is in full training mode and he is doing an amazing job. After successfully, transferring her to her chair, all the while making sure her blood pressure is stable. Ericka then entered with her assistance! Ericka and the other young PT did a series of arm exercises, pulling and stretching on Abelina's tiny arms. Then they started on her legs and unfortunately I had to leave to pick up Angel and Kylie, being Wednesday early day (12:55) Also, both PT'S mentioned that Abelina's arms were a great deal looser, from all the stretching done the prior day. She is making small improvements on a daily basis...
